THE CHRISTMAS MIRACLE

We are now in the Christmas season. The only problem is that the world has forgotten the Christ of Christmas.

Christmas is the birthday of Jesus. Christmas is the time when God intervened and took the form of a human being to save us. Luke 1:26-38 gives a powerful account of the Angel Gabriel visiting Mary. She was being positioned to bring forth the Messiah. She was being positioned for the Christmas Miracle, the birth of Jesus. How can we fulfill God’s purpose? How can we experience a miracle?

1) God intervenes in His set time (Lk.1:26)
The angel was sent at the set time to Mary. God will bring to pass things that He has spoken at His set time. He knows what to do when to do. We just need to trust Him

2) God releases His favor on the humble and yielded (Lk.1:27-30)
Mary was just an ordinary vessel chosen by God (1:27). She had pleased God and God was with her. She saw the favor of God in her life (1:28-30). Mary was just a human vessel that God was going to use to bring forth one of the greatest miracles in human history – the Birth of Jesus

3) Jesus must be enthroned in all things (Lk.1:31-33)
Our lives are all about experiencing and declaring Jesus. The angel said “His name shall be called Jesus.” Jesus is God, all powerful, Son of the Highest and who will reign forever.

4) God understands your struggles (Lk.1:34)
Mary had questions that she could not understand. She was struggling to understand what was happening. How was she going to give birth to the Messiah? God ministered to her.

5) God does the impossible (Lk.1:35-37)
God’s Word says in Lk.1:37 For with God nothing will be impossible.”
Our God is miraculous and naturally supernatural. He is awesome and all powerful and He wants us to experience His power.

6) God wants us to respond in faith to His Word (Lk.1:38)
How did Mary respond? Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.”(Lk.1:38). It was a response of Faith and Obedience to His Word. We need to believe and obey God.

Lk.1:45 Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.”

7) We need to keep praising and proclaiming Christ
That’s what Mary did in Lk.1:46-55. She declared the goodness and power of God.

What are you going to do this Christmas?
Would you believe God for your miracle this Christmas?
Would you proclaim Christ to the people around?

FAITH ACTION - BELIEVE GOD LIKE ABRAHAM

What do you do when things are not working out? What do you do when nothing seems to be happening? You need to believe God and His Word

Abraham was a great man of God. The key to his life was that He believed God. This is the key to greatness in God, walking in His provision and fulfilling your destiny. You need to believe God and His Word

Abraham believed God

Rom.4:3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

How was his faith expressed?

1) By Faith, He obeyed God
Heb.11:8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.

Faith obeys God’s Word. Abraham obeyed what God said. He obeyed by going to an unknown place. He obeyed by being gracious. He obeyed by giving.

Our life is an unknown journey of faith. It is a journey of obedience. Obedience does not require understanding, obedience requires instruction from God. You cannot separate faith and obedience. Faith will give you the ability to obey. Obedience is faith in action

2) By Faith, He dwelt on God’s promise
Heb.11:9,10 By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

Faith dwells on God’s Promise
• Dwelling on God’s Promise involves focus - looking towards the fulfillment of the promise
• Dwelling on God’s Promise involves sacrifice - there is a price to pay
• Dwelling on God’s Promise involves work - faithfully doing what God has called us to do
• Dwelling on God’s Promise involves waiting - not passive but active waiting. You have got to wait for God to make it happen.
• Dwelling on God’s Promise involves testing – your promotion depends on the test
• Dwelling on God’s Promise involves perseverance – you have to keep pressing on despite the circumstances

3) By faith, they judged God faithful to what He has promised
Heb.11:11 By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.

Rom.4:20,21 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

You have to judge God faithful to what He has promised. You have to believe God and His Word. As you do that, God’s miraculous power is released.

Heb. 11:12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.

For what was as good as dead, God releases His power and abundance. There is nothing that God cannot do, only believe GOD

WALKING IN GOD’S FAVOUR

God has got new things in store for you. Remember 2010 is the Year of New Beginnings. You need to expect the favor of God.

In John 6, Jesus was at the Sea of Galilee, and a great multitude was there. As Jesus lifts His eyes, He sees the need of the multitudes and goes on to do the Miracle of Multiplication. How can we walk in God’s favor?

1. To walk in God’s Favor, you need to sow (6:9)

There was a boy that was willing to give up his meal. It was an act of kindness. He sowed something small that brought a big miracle and blessed many. What about us? What are we sowing? Are you sowing words of encouragement? Are you sowing acts of kindness? Are you sowing your finances?

The principle of sowing affects every area of our life.
· You reap what you sow
· You reap more than you sow
· You reap in season
· If you don’t sow, you don’t reap

2. To walk in God’s Favor, you need to give thanks (6:11)

What did Jesus do when He received the 5 loaves and 2 fish? He gave thanks. He gave thanks for the 5 loaves and 2 fish.

If you can’t give thanks for small things, don’t expect the big things to happen.
If you can’t give thanks for your work situation, don’t expect promotions and favor to come.
If you can give thanks for your family, don’t expect great things to happen

The Bible says “In everything give thanks” (1 Thes.5:18)

3. To walk in God’s Favor, you need to do what Jesus says (6:11)

The disciples obeyed Jesus, They followed instructions and as a result became partners of the miracle. Do what Jesus tells you to do and expect the miracle to take place.

4. To walk in God’s Favor, you must glorify Jesus (6:14)

Every miracle must point people to Jesus and glorify Him. It is all for Him and Him alone.

See you on Sunday!

May God bless you as you journey into experiencing God’s favor continuously. We want to see you experience God’s goodness and power, live victoriously and be blessed.

Positioning for New Things

Hi everybody,

Do apologize that I have not been updating my blog. You can also connect with me on my twitter (sureshsundram@twitter.com) and facebook. God bless you.

POSITIONING FOR NEW THINGS

God has got new things in store for you. Remember 2010 is the Year of New Beginnings. We need to continue to expect the favor of God.

Is.43:18,19 “ Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

To walk in God’s fullness, you need to have to have a proper understanding of God. Isaiah 43 gives some spiritual insights on how we can position ourselves to walk in God’s Favor

5 Powerful Truths of your Relationship with God

1) You are very, very special to God (Is.43:1) - Because you are special He know when to bless you and meet your need.

5 powerful declarations of you being special
· You were created and formed by God (43:1)
· You were redeemed and saved by Him (43:1,3,4)
· You are called by His Name (43:1)
· You are His. You belong to Him (43:1)
· You are precious (43:4)

2) Your life is under the love of God (Is.43:4) - God loves you. If He would come 2000 years ago to die on the cross for you because He loved you (Rm.5:8), how much more would He help you.

3) God has purposed His best for you (43:4,19) - Because He loves, God has always got His highest good for you. You have a great destiny in God

4) God will see you through difficulties (43:2,16) - When you pass through the waters and fires of life, He will be with you. He will help you overcome

5) God is doing a new thing, expect it (43:19) - He will do a new thing. He will make roads in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Amidst your impossibility, the miracle will come.

HOW CAN YOU POSITION YOURSELF FOR GOD’S FAVOR?

1) Get out of fear and get into faith (43:1,5) - Dare to believe God. Have nothing to do with fear

2) Get out of your past and get into your destiny (43:18,19) - Deal with your past. The road to defeat is filled with negative past experiences and excuses.

3) Get out of sin and get right with God (43:24) - Get connected and committed with God. Let nothing come in between you and God.

Don’t give up on your dream. Don’t give-up on your destiny. God loves you and has purposed His best for you.

Believing God’s Best for you

We want to see you experience God’s goodness and power, live victoriously and be blessed.

Greater Passion For God

Hi everybody,

We live in troubled time. Many are disillusioned, discouraged and dejected. What do you do when things do not work out?. So many are sick and tired of being sick and tired.

In your moment of despair, what do you do?
In your moment of trouble what do you do?In your moment of turmoil, what do you do?

How you respond will determine how you move on.

David in Psalm 63 was going through a crisis in his life. His son Absalom had rebelled against him and was coming to kill him. This was probably the worst moment of his life – his son coming against him. So what does David do. In the wilderness of Judah, he cries out to God.

What can we learn from this?
How can we continue to be passionate for God amidst troubled times?
How can we love him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength?

We need a Greater Passion for God

1) A New Seeking (“Early will I seek you, my soul thirst for you, my flesh longs for you” Ps.63:1) We need to seek God. This involves:
  • A more intimate personal relationship
  • A greater desire for more of Him
  • Pursuing Him alone to satisfy us
  • Making Him the most important person in our lives
  • Spending consistent time alone with God
  • Getting Him involved in every area of our lives
2) A New Yielding (“God’s loving kindness is better than life” – Ps.63:3)
God is more important than anything else. He is the most important person to you.
  • Put everything on the altar. Put your complete trust in Him. There is freedom when you yield
  • As you yield, you allow God to move
  • Don’t focus on what you want, look for what God wants
  • When God closes a door, He has got something better.
3) A New Praising (“My lips shall praise You” – Ps.63:3)
Keep praising (63:3), blessing (63:4) and rejoicing in God (63:7). Live of life of thankfulness and praise

4) A New Thinking (Remember you….meditate on You” – Ps.63:6)
We need keeping focusing on God – not transient thoughts passing through but babiding thoughts that dwell. Learn to memorize and meditate on God’s Word.

5) A New Following (“My soul follows close behind you” – Ps.63:8)
We need to stay close and cling on to Him

See you on Sunday

We want to see you experience God’s goodness and power, live victoriously and be blessed.

Soaring Like An Eagle

Hi everybody,

As I write to you, I see the potential, gifting and a God-given destiny in your life. Let nothing hinder you from fulfilling God’s purpose in your life. Mount-up and soar like an eagle.

Soaring Like an Eagle

An eagle is no ordinary bird. It is the king of the air. It flies at levels no other bird will dream to go. It rules the skies. And the Bible compares a Christian to an eagle.

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

1) Dwell in the High Place with God
An eagle dwells in high places. It lives on high mountains, a life that is set apart. How much more, we need to dwell in the high and secret place with God. We need to dwell with Him and set apart for Him

Ps. 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

As we wait on the Lord, we are renewed. Our weaknesses exchanged for His strength. As we wait on Him, we shall mount up with wings like eagle.

2) Renew your Strength
An eagle is known for its strength. It can take any enemy. It can carry prey 2 or 3 times heavier than its weight.

Psalm 103:5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

As Christian, God wants us to have strength like an eagle – strength to do things that God has called us to do. We get this strength in Him.

3) Mount Up
When an eagle sees a storm, it locks it wings and rides above the storm. By positioning its wings, it allows the wind itself to carry it above the storm

God wants you to mount-up. God wants you to an overcome. You are more than a conqueror. Circumstances are mere opportunities for you to see God come through. You can ride above the storm

4) Realize your destiny
An eagle rules the skies. It has a sense of authority and power. It lives to fly and flies to live. That is its divine purpose. How much more you and I need to know we have a God-given destiny. Let’s press on to fulfill it (Phil.3:12-14)

One of the saddest sights is to see an eagle locked up in the zoo. It is destined to soar but trapped in a cage. Let nothing trap and prevent us from fulfilling our God-given destiny, you eagle Christian.

See you on Sunday

We want to see you experience God’s goodness and power, live victoriously and be blessed.

Establish Priorities In Your Life

Hi everybody,

Amidst the business in life, we need to remain focused on what God wants from us. Here are some powerful truths that will help you.

Establish Priorities in your Life

You become what is most important to you. Why is that so?

Your mind will focus on what is important to you. The Bible says “As a man thinks so is he.” You become what you think. Sow a thought reap an action. Sow an action, reap a habit. Sow a habit, reap a character. Sow a character, reap a destiny. Sow a destiny, reap an eternity. It all depends on what you think.

You will do what is important to you. If food is important, you will take time and travel distances to eat something you like. If money is important, than you will do what it takes to get it. If power and position is important to you, then you will do everything to be in position. This is seen so clearly in politics. If you car is important, you will take time with your car. (I know cars that are functioning better than the wife because of time spent)

All through my life I have endeavored to ensure that my priorities are right. So what is important to you!!!.

God must be first – We must love God will all our hearts (Mk.12:30). He is the one who holds everything together and we live for Him.

Family must be second. Family is the most important human relationship. Breakdown in family will result in a breakdown in society. Value your spouse and children. Value your parents and brothers and sisters. Family is important. Take time with them.

Next come your Church and work/studies
Work efficiently, effective and diligently whether it is your studies, employment or business. We need to give it our best. God wants us to excel.

Be committed to your local church. Never miss Sunday services and Cell Group. Plan your program around this. Serve God in the church. Our commitment to church is a reflection of our commitment to God

Lastly, yourself. Your entertainment, your desires, etc comes last on your priority list..

This has been our priority list for many years, and we have seen the favor of God. Just to say this “I am so happy doing what I am doing - being a pastor. What a joy to do the will of God.”

We want to see you experience God’s goodness and power, live victoriously and be blessed.

I would like to invite you to Join us this Sunday 10am at Holiday Villa Subang (Vintage Ballroom) as we look at “You are of Great Value” – 1st part of a series of messages that will cause you to realize who you are in Christ. Don’t miss this.

MIRACLE OF MULTIPLICATION

Hi everybody,

We are in a season of change, a year of new beginnings. Praise God for the many testimonies of people experience financial favor, promotions and healing in January. God is good and we need to expect the favor of God.

Our God is a God of multiplication. That’s why you can receive the Miracle of multiplication. God created you to multiply (Gen.1:22). God has called and chosen you to bear fruit and multiply (Heb.6:14; Jn.15:16)

When Jesus multiplied the 5 loaves and the 2 fish to feed the 5000 (there were more than 10,000 including the women and children), what a miracle that was. People were filled and there were 12 baskets full of left-over. That’s our God. He is able to fill us to over-flowing.

How can we receive the Miracle of Multiplication?

The Power of Giving

As you read John 6:1-14 of Jesus feeding the 5000, learn powerful truths on Giving that will transform your life.

The Giving of Christ Sacrifice at Calvary
The miracle took place during the time of Passover (6;4). The Passover is a reminder to us of the Passover Lamb Jesus that was sacrificed for our sins. This is the ultimate price paid. He took our curse that we can receive His blessings (Gal.3:13,14)

The Giving of the 5 loaves and 2 fish
There was a little lad that gave his 5 loaves and 2 fish. Every miracle is a partnership between us and God. God works for us, God works with us. The boy’s giving was seed faith for a miracle. He gave his meal. He gave his all. Jesus blessed what he gave, multiplied it and fed the 5000. Our giving will release the miracle of multiplication. As you give to the Lord, God will bless you (Lk.6:38)

The Giving of Thanks
Jesus took the loaves and gave thanks (6:11). Thanksgiving released the miracle power of multiplication. Learn to be thankful to God, give thanks in all circumstances. Give thanks for future miracles. Thanksgiving is faith in action.

The Giving Glory to God
The people began to give glory to Jesus (6:14). Never forget this. Every miracle you receive is from God and He alone must be glorified. Every miracle is a sign to point people to Jesus and to give Him the glory

Our God is a generous giver. He is the God of abundance who fills and satisfies. He is the God of multiplication.

Will you respond to Jesus today? He is the miracle worker. He is the bread of life. Why not make a commitment to Him today. Expect the miracle of multiplication.

We want to see you experience God’s goodness and power, live victoriously and be blessed.

God our Provider

Hi everybody,

I am looking forward to our move to Vintage Ballroom, Holiday Villa this Sunday Morning. It is going to be an exciting Miracle healing Service. I will be speaking on Experiencing God’s Multiplication. Do bring your friends and family for an awesome time. We will be praying for people and expecting miracles to take place.

I just was to continue to encourage you in the areas of your finances. Shanthini and I have seen the favor of God in our finances. Personally, my greatest financial breakthrough was when I went fulltime after working 11 years as an engineer. That act of obedience released the favor of God over us as a family. How God has provided for us and blessed us, has been amazing. It is important that all of us know and obey the Biblical principles of walking in Financial provision.

Why am I sharing these powerful truths?
  • All of us can experience God’s provision and blessing (Phi.4:19)
  • All of us will use our finances to be a blessing to God’s kingdom and people
  • All of us can receive financial breakthroughs - overcome debt, invest properly, experience God’s provision, etc.
  • All of us can leave an inheritance for our children
Last week we looked at
1) Why must we manage our finances properly?
2) How can we manage our finances properly?

To experience financial breakthroughs, we need to know who God is:
  • Our God is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. He is the Lord who provides (Gen.22:14).
  • Our God is supernatural and reveals His power and glory by providing for His children. He shall supply all our need according to His riches. (Phi.4:19)
  • Our God has revealed His Nature to man through the covenant Name ‘Jehovah’ (Lord- Ex.6:3). Jehovah designates a personal God who is interested in our welfare.
  • Our God is our good and great Shepherd who takes care of us – all our needs (Ps.23).
  • Our Lord Jesus through the work of the cross caused us to experience His total provision. He met our every need. (2 Cor.8:9; Rm.8:32; 2 Pet.1:3)
  • Jesus through His ministry on earth, ministered to every need including the need of provision. *Feeding the 5,000 * Catching fish
Remember, God will provide the right thing, at the right place, at the right time to the right person.

To experience financial breakthrough, you need to see God as your provider. He is your total source. Do not look for your financial security in your employer, business or people. Put your complete trust and faith in Him. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly (Eph.3:20). With God all things are possible (Mk.10:27).

We want to see you experience God’s goodness and power, live victoriously and be blessed.

Financial Transformation

Hi everybody,

Well it is already the end of January in our Year of New Beginnings. Are you expecting? What are you expecting? I am expecting to see God’s favor to come upon as a church in these 7 areas
  • Increasing our passion for God
  • Impacting Lives (Each member touching 5 people )
  • Growing the Leadership Team
  • Multiplying the Cells
  • Expanding the Ministries
  • Moving beyond 500 to 1000
  • Getting a Church building
Let us believer and work together for God’s purpose to be fulfilled. Another area that I am expecting is to see everyone experience financial transformation. As God begins to journey you for your financial breakthrough, you need to apply the following principles in managing your finances. (You guys should have attended our seminar last Sunday at Church office on Financial Transformation!!!!!!!!)

God is the owner and blesser of all things and we are stewards who manage what He has given to us.

1) Why must we manage our finances properly?
  • Appreciate and know what God has entrusted you
  • Motivates us to use properly what God has given to us (Mt.25:21)
  • Helps you to live within your means
  • You have to give an account to God
  • It will show and shape your character (1 Tim.3:3)
  • Prepare you for God’s provision and blessing (Lk.16:11)
2) How can we manage our finances properly?
  • Realize that God is the owner and you must mange what God has given you.
  • Learn to give generously (2 Cor.9:6-8) - your tithes, offerings, etc (Mal.3:8-12). Your giving will release God’s blessing.
  • Budget your finances – Keep a record of all our income and expenditure. It will help you to have a planned disciple spending.
  • Spend wisely, reduce your expenses. Don’t spend to meet your greed. Ask God to help you spend.
  • Learn to save. This prepares you for the future. It will allow you to leave an inheritance for your children.
  • Invest wisely - Know where God wants you to invest. Buying a property is a good investment.
  • Reduce borrowing - do without things that we cannot afford. Don’t go into a long term obligation which we cannot repay. Watch out for excessive use of credit cards.
  • Don’t gamble or bribe. These are against God’s principles.
We want to see you experience God’s goodness and power, live victoriously and be blessed.

2010 - A YEAR OF NEW BEGINNINGS

Sometime in November last year, I was asking God about the theme for 2010 and God gave me this Scripture in Is.43:18,19. This has been our theme for City Revival, and there are going to be great supernatural things happening. It is going to be awesome.

Is.43:18,19 Do not remember the former things, , nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

2010 – a Year of New Beginnings.

Expect the favor of God. Expect a sudden explosion of God’s favor. God will do a new thing. It will spring forth. Road in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, miracles in the impossibilities

You can experience God’s favor because of:
  • Who God is?
  • What God has said in His Word?
  • What Jesus did on the cross for us?
  • You are His child
What a privilege to be a child of God. We have a great Father who cares and watches over us.

Are you expecting?
A woman in labor is expecting – the baby to come
A footballer is expecting – to score goals.
A businessman is expecting – to make money

A Christian is expecting God to do new and wonderful things.

I am expecting. What am I expecting for 2010?
I am expecting for God to cause us as a church to impact the community and city for Jesus.
I am expecting for a stronger leadership team.
I am expecting for every cell group in the church to multiply and every ministry to expand.
I am expecting for us to move beyond 500 to 1000 this year.
I am expecting a Church Building.

What are you expecting?

Get ready for a greater manifestation of God’s power.
God is doing a NEW THING. Supernatural blessings are going to be released.

With God all things are possible (MK.10:27)

If you are struggling financially, expect finances to come through.
If your home is unhappy, work with God and expect a loving and godly family
If you are battling sicknesses, expect God to heal and give you good health.

Don’t ever say it’s not going to happen, don’t ever say 2009 is going to be like 2010.
Say what God says “Behold I do a new Thing”
Say “2010 is a Year of New Beginnings.”
Say “I am expecting God’s Favor.”

MALAYSIA, WE LOVE YOU.

What a privilege to be a Malaysian. Even as God has placed us here, we have a divine responsibility for our nation.

Malaysia is going through a critical phase – politically, socially, financially and religiously. Over this week, petrol bombs were thrown at a few churches. Victor, Ravind and I have just come back from visiting Metro Tabernacle in Desa Melawati. We wanted to extend our support as a church to them. Damage was extensive on the ground floor. But it is amazing how we as Christians respond in adversity – forgiveness, strength and trust in Jesus. As I shared last Sunday, “All things work together for good to them that love the Lord” (Rm.8:28)

So what can we do for Malaysia?

1) Realize that God rules over Malaysia.

God is in control. We do not have to be worried intimidated or fearful. God knows what He is doing

Ps.22:28 For the kingdom is the LORD’s and He rules over the nations.

Ps.33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.

2) Start praying for Malaysia

More than anything else, Malaysia needs prayer. Let us claim Malaysia for Christ.

Ps.2:8 Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.

Pray for all those in authority – Our King, Prime Minister, Minister, etc
Pray for all the people – Malays, Chinese, Indians, etc.
Pray for all the churches
Pray for God’s power to be manifested.

3) Stand for Righteousness

Pro.14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.

It is righteousness that exalts a nation. Unrighteousness will bring a nation down. There must be truth and justice in the Government, Judiciary, Enforcement (Poilice, Army, MACC, etc), media, etc. Righteousness, justice and truth must prevail for our Malaysia to prosper.

The God kind of change is coming. We need to rally with God.

“Malaysia we love you.”

YEAR OF NEW BEGINNINGS

It is good to be back. Just missed one week’s of blogging. I pray that you had a great holiday. I did. Went down to Penang to be with mum and dad, had a great time. And a miracle took place – did not put on any weight.

Lots of things have happened over these few weeks – the Allah issue, the challenges of 2009., etc.

I just want to encourage you with something that God put in my heart for 2010.

2010 is a Year of New Beginnings and we need to expect the Favor of God

Is.43:18,19 “ Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

This is what God is going to do in 2010.

New things
New things are going to spring forth – sudden outbursts of God’s favor

New things – road in the wilderness, rivers in the desert

Amidst your lack, you shall experience God’s abundance
Amidst you sorrow, you shall experience God’s joy
Amidst your sickness, you shall experience God’s healing
Amidst your confusion, you shall experience God’s peace
Amidst your despair, you shall experience God’s purpose
Amidst your darkness, you shall experience God’s light

Get ready for God to intervene. We have a God who is able. We have a God who is on our side. “If God is for us who can be against us,”

Step out of your past
Learn from your past but release it to God. Confess your sin. Your past must never prevent you from moving into your future. Your past is a good rudder to guide but now an anchor to keep you back

Step into God’s promises
Hold to God’s Word whatever your circumstance. God will fulfill His Word.

Stay focused on God
